Service Overview

Vertex Industries is a premier manufacturer and supplier of high-grade Industrial Metal Castings, delivering defect-free castings across ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Leveraging modern sand casting, shell molding, and precision investment casting techniques, we produce near-net-shape components with optimized metallurgical grain structures, superior mechanical properties, and excellent surface aesthetics.

Our foundry and manufacturing facility produces a diverse range of critical components including valve bodies, pump casings, fluid impellers, motor end-shields, gearbox housings, transmission covers, flange fittings, pipe connectors, and agricultural machinery parts. We maintain strict control over furnace charge composition, pouring temperatures, and sand conditioning to eliminate casting porosity, shrinkage, and inclusions.

Beyond raw casting production, we provide complete end-to-end turnkey capability. Our integrated machine shop performs high-precision CNC and VMC post-machining, heat treatment (annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering), surface shot blasting, hydrostatic pressure testing, and anti-corrosion painting, delivering ready-to-assemble components straight to your assembly line.

Frequently Asked Questions

We specialize in Green Sand Casting, Resin/No-Bake Sand Casting, Shell Mold Casting, and Investment Casting (Lost Wax). Our materials include S.G./Ductile Iron (GGG40, GGG50, GGG60), Gray Iron (FG200, FG260), Carbon Steels (WCB), Stainless Steels (CF8, CF8M), and Aluminum alloys (A356, LM6).

In Gray Iron, graphite exists in flake form, giving the material superior vibration damping and machinability but lower tensile ductility. In Ductile (SG) Iron, graphite forms spherical nodules due to magnesium inoculation, providing high tensile strength, impact toughness, and elongation similar to steel.

Yes, our pattern shop engineers use high-precision CNC routers and VMC milling to machine master patterns in aluminum, tooling resin, or seasoned teakwood directly from your STEP/IGES CAD models, integrating proper shrinkage allowances, core prints, and draft angles.

We provide both options depending on your project needs. We can supply shot-blasted raw castings, proof-machined blanks, or 100% finished CNC/VMC machined, drilled, tapped, pressure-tested, painted, and ready-to-assemble components.

We employ computer-aided solidification simulation to optimize feeder sleeves and chill placements. Additionally, we run 100% hydrostatic and pneumatic leak testing on all pressure boundary castings according to API / EN standards prior to dispatch.
